India

is a whole world in itself:

From the Himalayas down to in sub-tropical areas of the continent,  from the deserts of Rajasthan to the closed, icy mountainous regions of Ladakh and Zanskar, where no monsoon reaches,  from original religious traditions in some mountain villages, in which these religious traditions require for some days in the year that blood has to be spilled for the gods, coming down to modern cities that are looking forward to connect to the life and prosperity of the Western world - from rural tradition in which girls are a burden, some of which are still put out of the way and get killed, up to modern call centers and the IT elite which is the pride of the country: India offers all this and much more, but in a unique, vital and vibrant shape that seems to have been lost in the Western cultures. And if you think you've seen it all now, you will discover a few hundred miles further back, a new ethnic group, a new strain, a new tradition... -

I have long not seen everything, rather only a small part. Insofar this collection here can only give an idea of the diversity of society, the extremes between rich and poor, the natural and cultural wealth.
